As featured in last weekend's Sunday Independent First fortnight is a live music event featuring Martin Staunton and the Lost Parade, Hitman Lord, Citizen, and Pearse Mcloughlin.

Dj Steve Reddy will follow the Live Music. Doors 9pm, all proceeds go to the Mental Health Ireland Charities.

The event will also feature an exhibition of the work of visual artists Neal Burns.

Admission is €10 and there will be drinks promotions all night.

The band will appear on Today FM tomorrow, Friday April 17th, at 10.20am (ish).

Martin, Grainne, James and Emma will perform a cover of one of their favourite "Feel Good" songs as part of the "Feel Good" series on the Ray D'Arcy Show.

Martin Staunton and the Lost Parade will release their self-titled debut album on Friday January 16th, 2009. The album will be available in all good record stores nationwide and for those of you abroad or who prefer downloads it will be available internationally via iTunes, Napster and Amazon.

To celebrate the release of this album, the band will play an album launch gig in Whelans on Saturday January 17th, 2009. Stay tuned for more news and support details.

Even Better Than the Disco Thing is an Irish charity album (in shops now) which features covers of well-known disco songs by artists such as Eric Bibb, Republic of Loose, Brian Kennedy and Declan O'Rourke. All the songs were performed and recrded live on The Ray D'Arcy Show.

The album features Martin, James and Emma alongside the Sharon Shannon Band playing the track "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder.

All proceeds from the album sales will go to Barretstown and the National Children's Hospital. They are the perfect stocking filler and as a bonus you will be helping some great causes.

Martin Staunton Band will be supporting Sharon Shannon in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Friday, December 14th. Tickets from €37 at any ticketmaster outlet or online from ticketmaster.ie.

Martin Staunton Band to set to play live on Pat Kenny's radio show on Radio One, Friday December 7th 2007 between 10am and 12pm. The band will be performing two songs with a short interview.

One track is available to download free of charge from this website for 24 hours only (until 12pm GMT 12th September). The track, entitled "End of the Line", features Sharon Shanon on accordion.

Plans for the summer include a single release in early July and recording an album, to be engineered and co-produced by Phil Hayes (Bell X1, Delorentoes, The Chalets)

Martin Satunton Band are confirmed to play at this year's Castle Palooza festival. Ireland's most intimate, independently run music festival will return this August Bank Holiday weekend, the 4th and 5th.
